The lavender is starting to set bud on our hill top thanks to the lovely rains we have been having!  This little beauty is Buena Vista and it is the perfect variety for the home gardener as it is a 2 foot plant.  Ours, this year, is really only about a foot tall and wide.  We did no additional watering due to the drought.  We were concerned that the well would not go dry!  Let's hope we have a better summer in 2012.
